Compensation for today’s post was provided by Target, but the expressed opinions and the putting myself out there is all my own.
I just had a baby seven months ago, and I’m two months away from turning thirty. My younger, more obnoxious, self-conscious self would have laughed in my face had I told her that that was precisely when I would be getting out there and rocking some bathing suits. But that is precisely what this post-baby, pre-thirty-year-old self is doing. And she’s feeling totally awesome about it.
Which is why I am excited and honored to take the Target Style #NOFOMO pledge, a campaign to celebrate confidence and not letting the fear of a bathing suit keep us away from enjoying some fun in the sun. With a suit and style for every make and model, Target is doing their part to help us shake off our inhibitions and body insecurities and get our booties out there. And that is something I can get behind.
This suit is classic and modern, with its black-and-white stripes and flattering structured form, making me feel supported and comfortable in all the right places.
The string details on this otherwise typical triangle top add just the right amount of edge and youth without making me feel like I am trying too hard to get out there.
The graphic and tropical print of this underwire one-piece makes stepping out in this one a statement.
