grind and glaze

Mark this date. January 14th. The first time my first official Grind and Glaze piece was featured on the blog. Feels special to me.

You guys know there is no hiding my love for cool, meaningful things, especially things that are tasteful while also being unique, as well as my love for all things Tessa Clark and Idlewild. Well, now you know there is no denying my excitement for Tessa’s line, Grind and Glaze. This is her brand, her brand which is ethically crafted right here in Cincinnati, so to have a piece of my own that is hers just simply feels special.

And this sweater is special just because there is both a story and because it is just so cool. I nabbed it the night Kenny and I were out about town celebrating Christmas. We initially simply popped in to say hey to Tessa, but when I saw this in the corner paired over a black dress, I was like, let me try that, and when I did, Kenny was like, that’s super cool, and I was like, yeah it really really is, and now here I am.

So while this is my first official G&G piece, I know it won’t the last. Given the sweater itself, which is super sweet, and the fact that it’s Tessa’s Grind and Glaze, and the fact that it was something Kenny and I seemingly went in on together, and the fact that it means something that stands out, all just makes it all the better. There is nothing not to love about this special unique one.

The whole fit is remarkable without being too outlandish and I’m sure it offers an immense amount of comfort as well. I love it!
