The Thread Cincinnati gang got together last week in support of Dress for Success. We had a happy little happy hour at The Frock, home of Honey Events, Linger Flowers, and Lyell Photography. The space is so sweet and while it is the shared home of each of the above respective businesses, it is a rental space for parties up to 100. It was the perfect layout for us and all that we had going on, and quite frankly, it is what is worth talking about.
The space is technically two rooms, one with a bar, and one that is open and laid out with a variety of seating options (a couch, a rocker, a couple of tables and chairs). On the bar side, there is more bar seating and tables, which accommodated our spread of sweets, treats, and cocktails sipping lady friends.
This party was in conjunction with L’eggs, who supplied plenty of panty hose for all in attendance, as well as all that we would need to throw a perfect little party in support of Dress For Success. We all had something to donate and were encouraged to write notes on our donations, detailing what they meant to us in hopes of passing on the good memories. That, plus the company and the space, made for one lovely little evening, proving to me once again that Cincinnati has an awesomely supportive and positive blogging scene.
Check back here, as well as any of the other Thread bloggers for their posts of the event!
