I usually shy away from anything bodycon, which up until this moment has included the ever-classic pencil skirt. I’m sure it is some deeply rooted self-conscious, but I like things that flow and hang. Yet this bad boy caught my eye and made me want to break out of my shell a bit. I think it was the opposite print side panels, which make the skirt extra flattering, that propelled me. It was then natural for me to put a silk button down with it, but true to form, I did not feel comfortable until I was all tucked into a sweater, especially one with a sweet pattern of its own. Add three different necklaces and I am doing what I do best, while wiggling into something a bit different.

And here is a little outtake from the day. Jenn brought along a few bundled up assistants, and one ran right up to me, arms outstretched. It melted even my cold stoney heart.
