cincinnati food + wine classic 2017

Whip out those calendars now folks and clear your schedule for the 2017 Cincinnati Food + Wine Classic happening September 22-23 at Yeatman’s Cove.

This is the fourth year for the event, second year at Yeatman’s, and while I’ve attended in the past, I was out of town last year and I will not be making that mistake again. Kenny and I are already lining up our babysitters so that we can attend and enjoy the weekend in full.

This year’s event is bound to continue the awesome excellence of celebrating all that there is to offer when it comes to this city’s food and wine scene. There will be upwards of 150 chefs, artisans, sommeliers, winemakers, brewers, and food writers, all convening to share their artistry and talent. No matter what ticket you go for, you will be treated to unlimited samples and programing, while also getting up close and personal with local, regional, and national talent. And if you are like me and consider chefs to be celebrities, local and beyond, you know that this is the kind of event you feel desperate to attend.

The weekend will include signature events like Friday night’s Grill Invitational, where last year’s winner, Chef Paul Barraco of 20 Brix will be returning to defend his title against nearly two dozen others. Saturday will feature the Rising Star Lunch during the day and Feast in the Park that night. There will also be the ongoing beverage grand tasting throughout the weekend, as well as the live fire grill pavilion and dessert pavilion. All that, plus an artisan marketplace and programs that will include demonstrations, competitions, and seminars, will make the whole weekend nothing short of edibly epic.

If I haven’t sold you already, I’ve got one more deal for you – use the code outandoutfit2017 for 15% off any ticket or ticket package (limit 1 use per customer; fees & taxes apply). That’s a great bonus and one that I hope you take advantage of!

So let’s plan on hanging out that weekend in September. I’ll be easy to find as I’ll be the one drinking all the wine and trying to leverage a best friends friendship with Dan Wright
