There are so many things I need to say about this outfit, but I am going to start with a not-humble brag.
I wore this to the Cincinnati Food + Wine Classic Grand Tasting and if I didn’t get thirty compliments, I don’t know what happened. Seriously, ask my sister-in-law. I was stopped quite a few times by countless women and one very friendly gay man. I felt like the belle of the ball.
But I think everyone was picking up on how much I was into it. I found it that day at the Pretty Pony Boutique One Year Anniversary Party and once I put it on, I never took it off. It was just too cool. It’s big and thick and heavy and something I plan on living in all fall/winter long.
And since the weather was slightly cooler but not quite cold that weekend, I felt comfortable teetering the line between seasonably fashionable and temperature appropriate. The vest is full on fall wear, but being able to rock it sleeveless once or twice is a treat only September can offer. I can’t wait to wear it again.
C. Luce vest from Pretty Pony Boutique (it was the last one…but find it here) | Madewell denim (on sale!) | Marc by Marc Jacobs sunnies (or the flat top version) | Kate Spade bag (similar) | Crown Vintage mules (this pair would be a sweet upgrade)

I love it too! So is it a scarf you turned into a vest or is it actually made to be a vest? If you crafted that yourself, I’m gonna need a tutorial! :)
it is actually a vest…and I did not make it, but I wish!
This is lovely :) Perfect transitional outfit.
