This was one of those that I had in my head long before I made a single purchase.
I knew for my fun Keeneland friends weekend I wanted a wooly plaid skirt and a black bow tie. Walked into Madewell, found my girl Caroline, went with one she suggested without trying it on, and then saw this one on the way out. Grabbed it, exchanged the two, then finally went on my way. It was exactly what I was not only hoping for for that weekend, but exactly what I was hoping for for the entire fall/winter season. Can’t wait to style it a whole litany of ways.
I also knew I wanted a bow tie. I looked all over the internet for one, only finding a possible option from Asos. I of course waited and waited until it was too late, then I realized the look could simply be achieved with a quick run to JoAnn’s. A few two dollar spools later and I had all that I needed to achieve what I was going for.
