throne project

November 18, 2015

I hinted at it on Instagram a while back, but a few weeks ago, myself and a number of local bloggers were involved in a pretty ridiculous and fabulous shoot and collaboration. This was so glam and so serious and so dreamy I could die. Vanity Fair, eat your heart out.

The #ThroneProject is the brainchild of Emma Durham and Amber Zaragoza, founders of Queen City Vignette, a Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky event rental and design company with a vintage twist. This project was designed to be a collaboration of the city’s creative minds and beautiful places and this particular shoot took place in the Queen City Vignette space, which boasts the most romantic corner with natural light that can be staged with QCV’s uniquely curated pieces. But the project doesn’t end there.

As a rental company, QCV has an impressive and vintage-inspired collection of seating and decor and each blogger will be posing with the #throne of their choosing somewhere unexpected in the city (read a plush velour armchair in the middle of Fountain Square). Therefore in the upcoming months, you are going to want to follow the #ThroneProject along to see the styling and musings of each.

This was easily one of the most fun things I’ve been involved with as a blogger and I so look forward to this ongoing partnership. Again, this whole collabortation is designed to not only bring together a number of local creatives, but to also show off the unexpected offerings and stylings from Queen City Vignette, all of which are rentable. So from the taste of the QCV duo, to the stylings of local fashion bloggers, to the talent of up and coming photographers (the two from this shoot are in high school!). this ongoing vision is meant to show off the musings and creativity of all who are involved. Could there be anything cooler?
