Since I’ve been so obsessed with my wool hat lately, I thought it might be helpful to give you guys some inspiration when it comes to rocking the trend on your own.

Amber Heard, in this article, was spotted mixing her brown wool fedora with a black-and-white outfit. It is a common misconception that you can’t mix black and brown, but that is a definite can-do in my opinion.
You can also wear it like style queen Olivia Palermo with simple denim and white. With white extremely on-trend right now, you can jazz it up a little with always-classic denim. Keeping the banded wool hat mostly a neutral color is smart for those who are a little nervous to take fashion risks right off the bat.
Another fun way to wear a wool hat is to play matchy-matchy. In this slideshow, you’ll see Lupita Nyong’o flawlessly piling on three different blue pieces without looking like it’s too much. With a baby blue coat on top, Lupita easily breaks up the darker blues, color-blocking to perfection.

And for even more inspiration, I like scrolling through this site’s collections, because they’re seemingly never-ending…just type “wool hat” in the search bar and tell me you don’t find the perfect one for you (some of which have been included in the above imagery).
