This pair, which just shot straight to my number one, is from Sara Benjamin’s, a high-end boutique located in the heart of Mariemont. I was invited by Amie, the adorable and unbelievably kind and cool owner, to come in and get set up with a perfect pair of denim. While I tried on a whole gamut of cuts, I knew I ultimately needed something different, something other than the skinny skinny that I already have on repeat. The second I slid into this pair of Hudson’s, I knew it would be a done deal. They felt fitted and flattering, sculpted and saucy. What my ponte pants were to last season is what this pair will be to this. Mark my words.
Other laughable fact? This top was ten dollars from Old Navy and is precisely the only kind of tee that I’ll wear, one made of something cheaper than cotton. Cue the self-high-five.
Now if you are looking for local boutique shopping offering amazing labels (we’re talking Joie, Equipment, Tibi, Ella Moss…) and specializing in investment denim (hello Citizens of Humanity, AG, Mother, Paige…) make sure to make a trip to Sara Benjamin’s. You’ll absolutely fall in love.
