When you can’t fit into the majority of your clothes for the majority of a year, a top from a hundred years ago feels brand new.
Seriously, I might have purchased this Forever 21 top when the year had a nineteen in front of it. It is one of those that has somehow escaped the many closet purges and this past weekend it was the perfect bright and breezy top to wear out for dinner and drinks. I would have thought I needed something new to feel good while stepping out on the town. Nope. An oldie but goodie did the trick.
Forever 21 top (similar, also similar, similar-ish) | Paige denim | Gap sandals (last season, but these would be awesome if you like the style, or these if you like the two-tone) | Jules Smith necklace (sold out but similar) | Kate Spade bag | Karen Walker sunnies

You look fabulous! What an inspiration!
You’re looking great (as always) Katie! That color looks great on you.
KATIE! You look ah-mazing (not that I’m surprised). Love this top and really loving that bag. One of these days I’ll actually treat myself to a Kate. She’s always soo pretty.
Thanks Natalie! And you totally should with the Kate bag :) If nothing else, join her email list because she constantly has huge sales…I usually only go with the a purchase when she has a surprise 75% off one!
I have a pair of the J. Crew boardwalk sandals just like that and I absolutely love them! They just go with everything!
You look great! One of the best moments post baby is when you can finally fit into something that has shape and doesn’t belong in the maternity section.
