seafood pastaI just Googled “shellfish only diet” and “name for someone who eats shellfish exclusively” hoping to learn a new word, but turns out it is just pescatarianism and I already know that word.  Regardless, if I could, I would be one, but I’m currently not rich enough.

But I got close when Kenny whipped up the above seafood pasta for dinner Sunday night.  Just like that, made it for dinner.  It was insane.  Literally all my most favorite things in one bowl for me to devour.  Mussels, oysters, humongously perfect shrimp, garlic, white wine, tomatoes, truffle oil, angel hair pasta, basil, parmesan.  I mean come on.  I’m assuming you just LOLed with me because I think by now you know how I feel about those things listed.

He followed a recipe but like all great chefs, improvised by swapping oysters for crab meat, angel hair for penne, and canned tomatoes for fresh in order to add more flavor to the sauce.  Ken mans our restaurant and I man our dishes and it’s a beautiful thing.
