This hotel is sweet.
Seriously, it is that simple. Ironworks Hotel Indy is a super sweet boutique hotel located just outside the downtown area. Kenny and I were invited to be guests for the night and let me tell you, there was not one single solitary aspect or accommodation that wasn’t completely awesome.
Everything about the hotel felt masculine and modern. The second-floor reception area smelled strikingly of rich cologne, the decor was a mix of light and dark, silver industrial notes with deep brown woods, and there was such an obvious mark of old plus new, exposed brick plus minimalist fixtures. Kenny, who spends nearly forty weeks a year in different hotel rooms, walked around with sheer giddiness, a combination of impressiveness and excitement. No messing around about it, this place rocked.
So while we took the invitation to Ironworks as an excuse to hit the Indy town for quite the twenty-four hour daycation, know that our stay at the hotel beyond exceeded our expectations. I’ll be back tomorrow and Friday to cover what we ate and ate and ate (some of which includes the ridiculous room service we ordered from Rize) but know that while we had ourselves an absolute blast, it was all heightened and enlightened given our accommodations at Ironworks. Again, the hotel is just plain sweet.
Thanks again Ironworks Hotel Indy for having us for the night!
