The second I scooped up this leopard belt on mega-sale from Madewell, I envisioned it only with prints, primarily gingham and stripes. I’ve already done both.
Now a word on the tee. I am not a cotton shirt kind of gal. My casual tops need to be made of silk-like material, even if that means it’s just some kind of inexpensive polyester-blend. As long as it feels hangy I’m happy. But on a recent trip to my mother’s closet, I saw this shirt, felt it, and asked to take it with me. If what this top is about is what all cotton tops are about, I’ll consider changing my ways. This one is slightly thicker and seems to have some spandex-stretch in it. That I’ll go for all day. And in a thin nautical stripe? Wear it with everything, all year round.
