I used to envy the girls who lived in places where the calendar said one thing (fall) and the temperature said another (it’s hot). They would embrace the season’s fashions (furs, scarves) while also dressing temp appropriate (tanks, tees). I wanted to follow suit so badly but I never thought I could. Given the fact that we live where the seasons match the temps, I always assumed I had to be all in (fur over a sweater, with a scarf, boots, and jacket). But then I realized whatever. Why not? October fall here is the perfect time to bring a little light (tees) with a little heavy (fur). Add a jacket if the temperature does actually drop and you’re good.
Now I’m not going to lie, I don’t think there’s much more to this outfit than my own self-determination. Seriously. This was one that I wanted to share just because it was more about why I did it than what I did. This was nothing more than one of those outfits where as I checked myself in the mirror on my way out the door, I gave myself a You Go Glen Coco and went on my merry way.
