I just added this coat to my ever-growing collection, but it is like it has belonged to me for years.
A black and white buffalo plaid checkered jacket is so in my wheelhouse it is not even funny. For one, it lives in the monochromatic realm that I desperately prefer. Two, just like I like my coffee, the pattern is big, bold, and mostly black. And finally three, it is a layer that can either stand alone as the statement, or be added to other patterns and pops as the fun mixer and compliment. For all those reasons, I look at this one and say, welcome home, mama’s been waiting.
(oh and by the way, it is under thirty dollars so hurry on up and get to the end of the post…)

I need that! What size is your coat?
I went with a small…it’s a smidge tight in the shoulders but I wouldn’t size up either!
love it! What size are you wearing?
a small…smidge tight in the shoulders, but not worth a size up!
