Heading into the weekend with a lace look for ya.
And there are a couple of things I want to tell you about this pretty solid WAYF top. For one, the lace design is slightly different, with a more structured floral print to it, which made me like it more than a typical lace you see all the time. Two, the sleeves have a cuff around them, which is a great detail because it allows them to be slightly baggy while also being structured. Three, the high neck has both structure to it and lace ends peeking out, so both add a nice accent. Finally, I think this is a great top that can pair with black denim for some edge, but also either a pencil or flowy skirt for a bit more polish. When a top has the potential to work out in that many ways, you know it is a good one.
And a final note on what I’m rocking underneath. I ordered a Capulet bodysuit which I am going to highly recommend for a few good reasons. One, I personally wear a lot of tops that call for a tank underneath. Getting a bodysuit allows for the need-a-tank look to be a bit more flattering since it is worn to be tucked in nicely. Two, the back is super low, which adds a nice detail to again, any need-a-tank look. I’d consider any simple, designed to be worn under, bodysuit a wardrobe staple. It’s just good to have.
