best outs of 2015

What a year of eating and outing.

It is always personally fun to look back at all that went on, but in doing so, I realized I had one heck of an out year. I attempted to make a top twelve list, the best out from each month, but in looking at each month’s posts, I realized there were too many cool things to choose from. So instead of one, I picked two, because duos are always better.

So enjoy OUT + OUTFIT’s best outs of 2015…

JanuaryJanuary started with a bang, introducing me to my newest favorite brunch spot, Red Feather, as well as my newest favorite skill-set, macaron making with Macaron Bar.

FebruaryFebruary took me to Clifton and Northside, with dates at La Poste and Django Western Taco.

MarchMarch was about discovering new favorites at staple spots, with the mussels at Senate and the brunch at Nada.

AprilApril called for a very special date at Bouquet and a weep-inducing viewing of The Lion King.

MayLots of good street-style food in May, with a Taste of Cincinnati walkthrough and trying out the new Revolution Rotisserie spot.

JuneJune was about trying two spots that I kept reading about – Huit Craft BBQ and Maverick Chocolate Co.

JulyJuly was all about me trying not to lose my mind, so it was oysters at Anchor and the Northside Parade to keep me sane.

AugustAugust breathed new life with two new crushes, Krueger’s and Sprout (RIP Sprout…).

SeptemberSeptember was about seriously getting out, with an awesome weekend at the Cincinnati Food + Wine Classic and a trip to Charleston.

OctoberOctober was the month of serious fine Italian dining, with huge nights at Nicola’s and Bella Luna.

NovemberNovember got fancy with the High Style event at the Cincinnati Art Museum and an oysters happy hour at Boca.

DecemberThe year then rounded out with another fun class, this time it was florals at Fern, and a killer experience at 20 Brix.

But of course, the biggest “out” was the arrival of my little tiny best friend, Harry. I was holding on for dear life in the six months leading up to his arrival, and in the six months post, life has been pretty dear because the kid is just so darn nice. It’s unreal.

So here’s to having just as good of an out year come 2016.
