a valenti mani / pedi

Valenti continues to spoil me.

It was not long ago that I was treated to a number of services at Urban Salon. As if that wasn’t treat enough, I was then offered a mani / pedi service at the Anderson Valenti location. At the time of my appointment, I was coming off the busiest and longest work week of the school year thus far, and I was right about to head out of town for a black tie wedding. Therefore, this appointment was just what the doctor ordered.

To no surprise, everything about the appointment was utterly relaxing and enjoyable. Melissa, my stylist, was both sweet and informative. In between nail treatments, we chatted beauty and skin care, both of which are newly growing topics of interest of mine. Then, to compliment the relaxing manicure, which included a hand massage and moisturizing treatment, I had a warm, weighted neck wrap, which I wore for the duration of both appointments. Filled with seeds and scented with chamomile, this perk truly calmed me down, especially since I carry my stress in my shoulders.

When it came to my choosing of polish, I ultimately chose two light pink hues because as my friends know, nail color has never quite been my thing. I am getting more “adventurous” when it comes to my toes, but I really do like a natural-looking clean polish. For my nails, I went with the classic Bubble Bath, and for my toes, a pink in a more coral tone. I knew I would be wearing bold and dark colors all weekend, so I opted for something light for a simple and subtle compliment.

While it might be hard to tell from the pictures, my mani / pedi combo was on point. As someone who likes to keep it clean and sweet, I felt perfectly polished when I walked out the door, sauntering right into a stylish weekend. So between the cucumber water, weighted neck wrap, hand and foot massage, and aroma therapy exfoliant and moisturizers, the whole day and treatment sent me right over the relaxing and beautifying edge.

Valenti, you’ve done it again.
