a little catch up

It was a little lazy over here last week, but that’s because I was taking my time with this guy. And even though the blog was quiet, life wasn’t…

12191008_10103100292505890_8978010834602663255_nThursday night was spent glammed up with some of the Thread squad at the Founders Opening of High Style, an exhibition at the Cincinnati Art Museum that celebrates the evolution of fashion from 1910 to 1980, featuring some of the most influential European and American designers.  We’re talking Chanel, Dior, and Givenchy just to name a few. The exhibit is open now through the end of January so definitely make a date and go.

We woke up with zero plans but ended up having coffee at Washington Park, lunch at Krueger’s, a flight at Moerlein’s Malt House Tap Room, an extended happy hour at Pearl’s, and ended with take out from Allyn’s. I mean, that is one good fall day with the fam.kendra-scott-flierAnd while all of that was last week, this week is kicking off with a major bang as Thread is hosting a sip and shop event at the new Kendra Scott store in the Liberty Center. Not only will most of the gals be there, but there will be sweets by Firecracker Bakery, braids and hand massages by Cincy Organic Stylebar, and a great little discount to shop with! The event is from 6-8 and will be well worth the trip! Make sure to check it out!
